Satisfying kill, i like when MCs handle their enemies right away and don’t let them run and come back with some new plans lol

Finally now our MC can relax and take his time to breakthrough in Martial King Realm before going back to Haotian Sect. Then he can not only take his revenge plus he can also fully comprehend the Hoatian Swordsmanship.

I remember S1 being okay/mediocre and that I think I disliked the last few episodes of S1, but I feel like I'm getting invested in the story while watching this season 2.

AngryBuddha • 10 months ago

That's exactly how I'm feeling. All of sudden the story has some depth and I actually want more episode unlike S1.

I'm confused, how would someone, even with the gift of reincarnation, be able to face the Ziyang Sect "chief" in a head on battle several stages lower? Being in such a lofty position, he would have to be at LEAST an entire realm higher than mc. But mc almost straight up slapped him around from beginning to end, and even with the assistance of a high level artifact, the guy was only barely on par with mc. Mc only used one of his trump cards at the very end to finish him off. This makes no sense with anything aside from god tier plot armor. I'm not complaining about him winning, I'm questioning the ease of which it was accomplished. There was no suspense or struggle, it's just... another boring stepping stone.
Problem is, with the mirror returning to the sect, how many people know that the guy had the mirror? Wouldn't they have their own martial king's come to investigate? Let alone that, wouldn't his former wife become his enemy as I stated before? Will she turn to the dark side and practice "evil" arts to attain her revenge? It's quite obvious she isn't aware of her father's dark intent.

Nah.

I can't remember the cultivation stages in this donghua but lemme explain with this...

The sect master is at say, level 5 late stage, and MC is at level 5 Mid stage.

I think it's the Nascent soul stage
